Native American Playing Cards (Set One)

Each card in the deck features a full-color portrait of a different 19th century Native American. Most of the paintings are taken from McKenney and Halls historic collection of 19th century portraits published in The Indian Tribes of North America. The stunning portraits were created when the subjects served as delegates of their respective tribes to Washington, D.C. and other historic peace councils. The 124-page illustrated booklet presents a biographical essay on each Native American figure. Included are stories of Indian chiefs, braves, and squaws
